"GOD WORKS HERE" MINI COMIC EXERCISE (OCTOBER 2006)
In an attempt to emulate the yearly "24 Hour Comic Day" event, I decided to make my own version of it, making myself do a fast,
no editing, stream of consciousness writing/drawing exercise, and to base it off of a random source for inspiration. The title came
from the greasy fingerprint message written on the window of a cabin in a small resort I was staying at during an art workshop
weekend. The condensation on the window revealed the hidden message (apparantly, lots of church groups stay here as well),
and I took it as a sign to run with this to whatever illogical end it needed. Imperfect as it is, I was pretty happy with the end result.
To maintain the feel of the original small notebook it was done in, scroll to the right in your browser window to read the comic. |
