SYLVAIN NEUVAL “FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN”

An interesting challenge; design the most recent volume of an ongoing sci-fi book series, emulate the styles of the previous 2 books, but move it forward and bring some of your own style to the series. My agent came to me with this prompt, and I worked on finding the sweet spot of what the author wanted, and also making it fit into the series.

Like most sketch processes, there’s a few iterations that became my favorites that ended up on the cutting room floor. Still happy with the final chosen version, but here’s an alternate version of the cover.
